the Jack gets to be around 8 to 10 inches. They havent bothered any of my plants. Mine love brine shrimp. I havent tried regular shrimp yet due to them still being small. Also check out Electric blue jack dempseys. They are a bit more money but are beautiful! check em out

very nice well i really like the JDs so i might just go with 1 JD and like 3 silver dollars and suggestions.. im gonna go to to the people at my lfs right now then do my trade tomorrow most likely

I haven't kept them, but from everything I've read, Silver Dollars and live plants don't get along well... guess who wins? Just FyI.
