Yep, a 20g high is not enough tank for an angel.

Also, neons do better in cooler waterl. Cardinal tetras = warmer water.

Yeah, I get that now. Just debating re-home Angel vs. buy larger tank when needed (right now she's only about the size of a quarter...

Test results from after work today, my GH/KH kit just arrived!
KH= 6 deg
GH= 214 ppm !
pH: 8.2 (argh!)
Amm: 0-0.25
NO2= 0
NO3= 0

6 is fine for KH, but the ammonia spike is still there. Add more Safestart if you have left and keep monitoring..
