you are sooo Wrong. Most knives get large yes. but they are usually harmless. my ghosts *(12 of them) never have eaten any other fish and wouldnt harm them. Most are a peaceful species requiring more room them most. I dont see what would lead you to think that they are harmful or mean. they dont belong in a tank by themselves. many can and live well with all speces including cichlids and others. Anyone has questions about knives.
