a qt tank is a tank to use for new fish or use as a hospital tank if you need to medicate a fish. you need some of the basic equipment in it. it doesn't matter what way you cycled your tank you still need to add fish slowly. some fish produce more waste than others. introducing too many fish at one time will cause an ammonia spike and cause ylour tank to cycle all over again....could even lead to fish loss.
