No trick or treaters

Halloween in my area was truly sad. I think its the recession that has hampered this holiday. I took my kids to 4 different neighborhoods, basically around grandparents and aunts/uncles's homes. And it was almost the same, more than 50% of the houses were dark, or were just empty houses. I never realized how many houses have gone into foreclosure until now, I've read about in the news, but its different in person.

I agree with you 100%! And they do look like they had a blast! I always do stuff like that. Here is Alaska it gets darned cold and one year my son was a knight and when he slipped and fell on his butt his black vinyl cape shattered. It was -35 and I drove them from house to house keeping the car warm and toasty with hot cocoa in the cup holders. They had a blast. It's the times like that that make great memories.

exactly... and too funny. shattering vinyl reminds me of our kiddie pools. :)

In our town there have been no reported cases of H1N1. As well, with the kid we have in our house, we just washed all the candy bags anyways because the bags were all factory sealed..... I just think its kinds crazy.

... I saw a little school girl costume worn by a little girl.. how sick is that... .
LMAO! It's not funny, but it is, ya know. How dare a little girl wear a girls school uniform! But I doubt she was wearing a full length skirt and long sleved, fully covoring blouse.

I too wish I could get my wife to waer one of those costumes, in the privacy of our home(or hotell room).
