NoClean Tank... Video

What I meant is that food that isn't eaten right away and mulm settles on top of the sand where it gets down into gravel much more quickly.
As such, as desired, it is more easily siphoned off (as opposed to aggressive gravel siphoning).

Pretty sure "crud" does work its way into sand....if nothing else, from fish nibbling at it and pushing it in. A major reason DSB tanks work.

True, but I would wager the majority of every day folks don't vac after every feeding.

Going to be honest this is literally just an overflow thing... you could probably make one out of a UGF and some pvc and a glass cutting saw... and then it's cheaper and customizable to any tank size haha.

Still no response on my comment on the video.

That is because nobody reads the comments posted on youtube videos.
:nutkick:

I read your comment, your argument is valid, but its not going to persuade anybody after they were sold on the product with that "logically sounding" video. If you really want to get you point across, you need to do a video that falsifies the claims made by the promoters of this product.

PS I always wanted to use that emoticon, and that was the closet I may ever get to use it without getting my butt whooped. So take no offense my New Jersey friend.
