Noisy airpumps driving me mad

I have a TetraTech pump and it's noisy. It even likes to "walk" around the tank top and when it touches a hard surface the whole house rumbles. A few months ago it started walking again and fell from the tank, pulling the air hose, tha airstone and the fake plant it was attached to. magine the loud noise at 2 AM.

Getting seriously, a power head attached to the tube of the filter would be a good choice.

Sounds to me your pump has a demonic possession. An exorcism may be in order.

BTW Chuck, nice to see you again. it's been a while since you've posted unless I missed something. Check out the thread in GCC on the AC picnic this summer. talk your parents into coming along.

Thanks, its nice to be back. My time has been tied with RL stuff so I havent been able to post. Hopefully Ill be on a lot more now.

The picnic sounds cool and the Newport aquarium is a cool place, Ive been there twice.

I'm rockin a .Tetratec Deep water :thm: on my 55gal. It's pretty quiet . :clap: The only noise is from the biowheels on my filter! :cool2:
