Not sure what is wrong with my fish..?

So I have a fintail goldfish. And i went to go feed my fish today ans i noticed that most of his tail was gone and he is swimming really funny. Pretty much upside down. It seems almost like he's struggling. Im not sure what it is or what to do ive looked online everywhere trying to find what it is and how to treat it but i cant seem to find much. Please help, i have had this fish for almost 2 years now and i dont want to loose him. Ill make a attached image so you can see his tail.

Is the African cichlid in with the goldfish? If so, that is likely the culprit.

Agreed with the above, that cichlid most definitely is to blame. Also, he requires entirely different water parameters from your goldfish. Due this and his aggressive nature, he should really be in a different tank than your goldies.
