ive been using this stuff to polish my 100 gallon acrylic (by hand) with meh results. till today. i bought a 6" orbital buffer ($20ish from home depot by ryobi). i guess i wasnt applying enough pressure or i couldnt continue in the same spot long enough. i did a test run on a spare piece of acrylic i had laying around. i sanded it with 2000 grit wet/dry sandpaper, then steps 3, 2, 1 of novus and you seriously cant tell where i sanded. it took less than 10 minutes to buff away the scuff from the sandpaper.
i cant wait to get started on my 100 gallon (i have to pick up my daughter at the airport this afternoon, so im waiting until i get back). needless to say, im very impressed!

but i have to say that the tank look a billion times better than it did.
GREAT Product!! Use it on my Tenecor regularly. (samples were supplied by the mfgr.) Just remember when power buffing w/ #2 or #3 to use clean bonnets & keep the speed at 1000rpm or less. Btw, good move testing on the lid before the main tank surface (did the same). "T"
