alright everyone i've been researching for a few days here on fish i'd like to keep buti cant make up my mind... the only thing i've decided is that id like to have it moderatly planted with lots of driftwood and a bit of rock work. i've done the african cichlids and mixed community tank of tetras before (both of which i kinda grew bored of) and for a few years i even had a reef tank so i'm fairly confident in my fish keeping abilities.
now heres a list of fish i've been looking at...
cory's-theyre a must have for this tank and i think im going to do two different groups of 6
knight gobys-seem to get nothing but conflicting information about them on whether or not they can live in freshwater. the guy at my lfs who i trust alot tells me he's bred them before and blah blah blah and personally he kept them thier whole lives in freshwater fine.
moth catfish, i think they look pretty interesting however they like slightly colder water around 70ish
Tiger butterfly hillstream loach- this is also a cooler water fish
loaches- mainly the weather loach is what ive been looking at but i find them all pretty cool
basicly i kinda wanna go an oddball route aka the uglier the better, with this tank, but i still want to have some variety in species. so anyone have ideas or suggestions for me??? thanks everyone
