Nymphaea bulbs?

It usually takes 1-3 days for it to sprout. I hear some people say it could take a week or even a month to sprout. The ones from wal-mart, just dry the ones that didn't sprout and throw them in an envelope with UPC and ship it to the address on the package. They sent me a couple ones that were sprouting in about 2-3 weeks.

Well, I have one bulb left and, although it's not squishy and it doesn't stink, it's not sprouting. Do they really take this long? Any way to make it sprout soon?

Best you can do is just wait. Let the bulb do its own thing.

If you get any kind of root, it will live. Lilys are hard to kill. I have a few tiny ones I broke off my large pond lilys that I may put up as a RAOK in classifieds. The have several small leaves already.
