Update!

Its been like 2 months since my last update, so I just took some fresh pictures. :)

One of the pictures is a picture of my thriving microworm culture, if any of you are wondering. :D

And I'm trying to grow HC in a candle 1" candle dish with fluorite sand substrate :)

Enjoy.

Oh boy, its been over a year since I updated. Wow. time sure flies by.

Lets see... I got two pictures.

The first is my tank from about November until this past Sunday. The second picture is what my tank looks like right now.

The dwarf hairgrass seems to have been doing really well after 2 months of neglect.

Thanks Oscar! Now I just need to plan out what kind of livestock I'm going to put in there.

Contemplating over some Tiger Endlers, Cherry shrimp, Dwarf cories, Guppies (not fancy), Dwarf Crayfish, or some nano schooling fish.

Any recommendations?

Currently, this tank is holding 3 female halfmoon betta fish. One of these lucky girls will be chosen to breed (or attempt to breed) with my male halfmoon betta. Their colors don't match, but whatever. I'm going to try anyway. :)

The betta breeding thread will be started tomorrow!

June 4, 2010 Update

The new setup has been running smoothly for nearly a month now. I removed the female bettas awhile ago and placed them in their own containers.

Tiger endlers are the current inhabitants in the tank. I have around 23-25 of them? They are all mixed ages with maybe 6 or 7 of them matured.

The moss and dwarf hairgrass are both doing well, though there are a few small dead patches of dwarf hairgrass here and there. Nonetheless, I see runners so everything is fine. :)

Also have some algae.. maybe? It's brown and it was all over the glass and also on some of the hairgrass. It is easily removed though. Not sure if it's algae or not. I do plan on getting an otocinclus or nerite snail sooner or later.
