I've only seen it in 2x4' pieces, one should be plenty. I bought one about 2 years ago and use chunks for various projects and still have the majority of it left. Other option is to ask them if they have any that got broken in shipping that they would give you a deal on since you only need a small piece, or find some other local fishkeepers and see if you can get a smaller piece.
OK, thank you....when they call about the glass I figured I'd stop at the hardware store and pick that and the silicone up today!!OMG, last night at work I was talking about this ok....my regulars are use to me talking about fish stuff, but there was this guy and he was like "your building a sump by yourself"? I said yeah, and then continued to explain to one of the ppl I was talking to what I was getting and this guy got an very weird look on his face and he was like..."come here", so I did and he said "you have me completely lost here" so I started to tell him what I was doing....LMAO, apparently he works for a plumbing company and thought I was talking about a SEPTIC SUMP!!!!!!! :rofl: I ended up having to draw a picture and explain what I was actually doing...it was great and I bought him a beer he stayed the rest of the night and left me a big fat tip ($25.00)...sayin, "here to help with your new system"!
WOW cheech what a nice drawing! I think I will use it for my sump....very cool (sorry if I'm a few pages late...I'm out of town).
