I moved them to the Nano.. my heater broke in the night and the temp dropped to about 65F, they still look fine though. I replaced the heater and am going to slowly raise it back up to where it should have been. You're right about the nano, these things are stupid hard to keep in line.. and all the heaters and filters i have for small tanks aren't the greatest quality.
It looks like the ones in the main tank are gone

Was probably my ZigZag Eel, it eats the hell out of worms and these looked like tiny worms. Either that or they're just hiding really well, which is possible, they're hard to see.
Check this out though. about a week ago I trimmed all my plants. Completely ripped out my Jungle Val and my Hornwort and threw it in a bucket. After two days I threw those plants into a soon-to-be brackish tank to help the cycle along. Didn't like the way they were clogging up my Emp400 so I took them out within hours, all except for one hornwort stem.
Anyways, just this morning I noticed about 6 Needlefish in the 29g brackish. I couldn't believe it.. apparently they had laid their eggs on the plants over a week ago and hitchiked into the brackish tank. I'm surprised they hatched considering they sat in a dry bucket for two days
but I wonder how many of these poor fish died in that bucket?

the plants are all dried up and dead now, so I know for a fact the eggs in the bucket didn't make it.
