OMG, I love Drs. Foster & Smith!

Oh, yeah, and as long as I had gotten one of my packages of plants and everything, I decided to rearrange the tank! I got some plastic canvas and suction cups from Walmart last night. I cut a piece of the plastic canvas and had to "sew" another piece to it to make it long enough to go from the front of the tank to the back. I made it about 2 to 2 1/2 inches tall so that it would allow room in case the water level drops from evaporation (it's already bad now while it's winter conditions, so it'll probably lose more during the hot summer). Then I attached to suction cups using the metal hooks on them to the canvas and attached it to the front and back of the tank so that I can prevent the current from my outputs from disturbing my floating plants and also prevent the plants from getting pushed down by the outputs only to get sucked into the intakes. I don't have much for floaters just yet (99% of my duckweed got sucked into the filter and died O_o).

Anyway, I moved all my higher light needing plants to the side of the outputs so that my floaters could be on the other side covering the anubias, etc. I'm still not sure I like it just yet, but I also have some more plants coming tonight or tomorrow.

I'll post another thread detailing my "floater guard" with pics. Not sure if I should put in in the Plants or Equipment/DIY section.

Bummer!

Ya think the order pickers are starting to go postal, because of us and their Sale?!

I got a bag of rocks from them today! : ) ye ha!

I guess everything else is riding across country in a truck because of the "Test Kit". :(

I can really see how yellow my water is, though. It might be partially the lights, but probably mostly the tannins from the driftwood.

i had the opposite experience. I ordered something that wasn't listed as being on back order.

Got shipping stuff saying its on back order. Even though they tell me it is coming each week... it is now been on back order for a month. Weeee
