Opinions please

Looks good, I like the little caves and hideout spots you put in there, very considerate of the fish.

I'd probably put some vals, or some other tall plant that will work ok with the intake/exhaust being there on the back left corner just to even it out, but once it fills in it will look awesome.

Thank you JetaJ :) I like that little cave like area too, but that piece of wood, the light colored one has white fuzzy, hairy stuff on it. I took it out, cleaned it off and put it back in and got it growing the white stuff again, not sure what it is! I soaked the wood for a week maybe 10 days, till it didn't discolor the water. I have no idea, but I'm thinking maybe I should take it out,I'd hate to do it. the other wood in the tank doesn't have anything growing on them. I got a really nice large piece of Malaysian drift wood at an auction last Friday, maybe I'll clean it and soak it, change the wood.

The best part of having live plants in a tank is you cant over water them, i have never had a pot plant live longer than six months. get some flourish excel it works great.

Thanks DGC, I just ordered that, should have it Monday. I have plant tabs and that seems to work, but I have java moss and java fern which of course is not planted in the substrate. I also got some frogbit and xmas moss should be coming this week, so they need it. Ha, I used to have alot of plants in my home and kept forgetting to water them too! Terrible!

Good luck, take some pics so you can see the difference once you use excel, you will be amazed
