Tell me any of this sounds educated to you. Seriously. I'm not saying he is an uneducated guy, I am saying that his opinion of vegetarianism is grossly uneducated. You can call me immature, you can call me a whale hugging dirt worshipper, whatever you want, but really, does any part of this statement sound as if it is rooted in unbiased research? And just for my own edification, during which time period specifically were "the days of meat and potatoes?"
Oh and just so you know, not every vegetarian is a member of, or is in agreement with PETA

Days of meat and potatos was before vegans and the like started pushing not eating meat. My view is not uneducated at all. If you would like I can send you scripture that shows eating meat is natural and OKAY.

I never said eating meat was unacceptable. You, however, in every post denounce vegetarianism as unnatural. And you are ignoring the bulk of my posts and singling out sentences with which you disagree. Religious discussion is not permitted on these boards, therefore I fail to see why you are using scripture as part of your arguement. But since you insist, I don't consult the book you mention for any reason, I'm certainly not going to flip through it for medical advice. I have never had a doctor condemn my diet. I have not recommended that you alter yours. I do not understand why you are insisting that you know better than I do, better than my physicians, when really my choice to abstain from meat literally has no impact on your life whatsoever. That makes no sense to me. Others are discussing, you are argueing.

OK, jojo says meat is OK and eats it, (which is OK) I think meat is OK but I dont eat it... I said what I feel, then it looks like it turned into a argument...
So I'm dropping out of this thread... IMO, it caused enough trouble... (at least for me) as well as going OT... wasnt this thread origanlly about horses?
I dont care WHO eats meat... I dont, and I'm not changing my mind :D lol:idea: :lipssealedsmilie:

Once agian, no offense to people who eat meat:) :dance2:

Just thought this was interesting for all the soy lovers out there: http://www.frot.co.nz/dietnet/basics/soy.htm

Oh, since you like "experts" so much: http://www.soyonlineservice.co.nz/downloads/nctrpti.pdf

They market soy as a miracle product, but hide the darker side. What is more frightening is the ever increasing amount of soy products on the market today. So meat is bad, but soy is not? Too much of a good thing, is not a good thing. Everything in moderation. Balance is key. Meat and vegetables can exist together, in my belly....  hehehe:grinyes:
great finds!

I eat an order of edamame about three times per year. That is the extent of my soy consumption, maybe about a pound annually. Those were interesting links though.

I was not argueing untill you started with the personal attack, as with daaday we had a polite and civil discussion and now I understand her view and she mine. Am I right Daaday???? You came here and caught a conversation and picked a fight, as a matter of fact you have only contributed to this thread in the last 24 hours and have personally attacked me and my level of education more than once. So why are you jumping into a conversation and starting a fight. I on the otherhand have been participating in this thread since the start, so please do not come here and pick at me.

Also if vegetarianism was natural wouldn't we have eaten that way from the begining of time like many other animals, also known as herbavores??? They have done so since the dawn of time we have eaten meat since the same, it is natural for us to eat meat, therefore it can not be natural to not eat meat. Vegetarianism may be a viable way to stay alive, but it is not natural.
