Our House Renovation Has Begun and It Will Include 2 Walls With Built In Tanks

Total awesomeness Snoop! You are sooooooooooooooo lucky!
Forgive me if I'm repeating myself.....but did I ask you if your hubby has a single brother???:D

Two more walls have their drywall now and the final wall has been stripped. You can now see where the "windows" for viewing the tanks are. We put in outlets under the bottom tank and some more about halfway up the sides inside the side walls where the filter tubes will run up to the tanks. We put in a dedicated GFI breaker for the tanks. My husband and 4 year old son are putting in an electric smoke detector near the double tanks. Daddy informed him that it was a "kitchen timer" (you gotta love his sense of humor). My son now thinks it is called a "kitchen timer" so you know when supper is ready. He has decided he wants a "kitchen timer" in his room, so I don't have to call him when it is time to eat.

Thank you. The kids will be getting new bedrooms at the other end of the house, where the living room is now. We have to get the living room finished first so we can move the tanks and furniture into it before we can start the bedrooms. If we left the children where they are now, my daughter would be swimming in the tank with the fish and my son would think his top bunk is a diving board. The space where their beds are now will end up being my fish room. All of my smaller tanks will be in there and hopefully I will be able to find several more 20 gallonish tanks to add to what I already have for fry, snails, and such.

Oh by the way, does anyone know how to mud?
