today to the lps to buy some brine shrimp, while i was looking at the fish i saw two pacu's each in a 20 gallon.i told the person that worked there that they need at least 300 gallons when they are that big(18 inches)and she said that as long as they can turn around that they are fine.the thing was they could barely move at all.whats worse is they are trying to get out,the one did get out,he busted the glass and got his whole side slit open.the stupid person was scared to pick it up and put it in the water(big empty tank)so i did, then i asked her why she didnt pick it up herself and she said that she had just had her nails done!she didnt want blood on her hands, that fish died within an hour.i felt so bad for it,i brought a betta home that they were going to throw away!he has ick,not a bad case of it so im treating with warmer water and ick away.he is opaque with a black head.im trying to find somone with a huge pond or a very big tank(at least 300 gal)to take the other pacu.the person also told a man buying a betta that he could put it in his cherry barb tank!
