painting your tank

I haven't painted my tank yet, but I was planning on using my massive amounts of acrylic. I AM EXCITE!! It will be so pretty!

I though about painting my glass but then I found this product

It worked great went on very easy and I feel is more durable then paint all though is more expensive. But take into consideration that there is no taping no fumes and no mess.

I used black shelf contact paper because I didn't want to make a paint mess in my place, also had an established tank by the time I got around to it.

I tried to stay away from the paper because of salt creep.

Blue oil base rustoleum, 3-4 coats brushed on.

Its called contact paper, but the only paper part is the backing.. The kind I'm talking about is a vinyl laminate that has an adhesive side.. Almost like window tinting but thicker.

I put a whole can of rustoleum satin black. I finally get to set up my tank thurs!!!
