Well after allot of thought i have decided to share why theres been no photo's of the upper section. I guess i like the unusual and to break the rules a bit. i have enclosed the upper section of the tank and i have added Two little creatures that are about 3" tall. We'll see how it goes so far the extra bird food that drops in the tank has been devoured and much to my surprise there droppings as well.
I have yet to see a paludarium with w/ birds, mostly because of the extra waste associated with keeping some birds. I am really interested to see what kind of effects this will have on the whole system. KEep us posted
That is an awesome setup! Good luck with the birds. Just keep an eye on them though. They drown easily and because they are not a tropical bird species there is a good chance they could develope a respiratory infection from all that humidity.
