Parachromis sp. Yellow Head La Ceiba

I have a breeding pair and they were quite easy to grow out. Treat them like most parachromis. I fed them nls, worms, shrimp, and crickets. I did 80% wc and they grew like weeds. They really color up nice and look even better when in breeding dress. I raised them in a 75g then moved them to a 225g community.

Im trying to get a pair to form. Shouldn't be long. I hope lol. My only problem is the baby RTM's. I had 6 of them but those guys could be nasty at times and well they killed one of there own so now I only got 5. I'm planning on placing my eventual pairs in 75 gallon aquariums most likely with dividers to prevent injury from the males to the females.

Any luck getting a pair to form yet? I got the 3-3 1/2 inch size from TUIC, and a pair form in a week, had babies another week later.

Nah. I got them when they were tiny like .5" now there bout 1-1.25" so not time yet for them to pair off. They were in a non heated aquarium so they have been growing at a slow rate. Now there in a heated 18gal roped tub. Hoping they have a growth spurt.
