That's what I think, too. I have heard (don't know if it's true) that they're made by breeding a female blood parrot with a male convict. It has to go that way because male blood parrots are sterile. I don't know if the makers have to inject hormones like normal blood parrots but it doesn't look like they use zinc to produce deformities. I have also heard (again unconfirmed) that they can be aggressive like normal convicts.
