I just don't get it. is it a fashion statement? My youngest son wears his pants rather low.......what's the point?!?! :wall: someone had told me it was started in prison and I cannot go into details as to what it symbolizes on a family site. :lipssealedsmilie:

Those internet cat pictures that say things like "Hay guyz, Is just cleening out ur fishy bowl." They annoy the crap out of me. I have a similar looking avatar, but at least the bear says it right. And also he looks pretty darn awesome.

yes, you can. it started in the prison system because belts were not issued to prisoners despite having baggy pants (to prevent their use in violence/suicide) and it quickly made its way out of the prison system into the society of criminals, and then into the world of gangs and thugs and the like.
