What simple everyday things that people do just drive you crazy?

For me it has to be debit machine people. Sometimes I'm waiting in line to either withdraw, or deposit some cash, and the person in front of me seems absolutely clueless. After every question asked by the machine, they'll stare at it for a few minutes, push a button, and again, just stare... look through their bank-book, stare some more. Then, once the transaction is made, they'll take out their card, only to put it back in, and repeat the whole process... .

Drives me up a wall.
 
Yes, ATM machines can be frustrating. I sometimes wonder if they are conducting off-shore transactions. Another pet-peeve, which you see less of today with the advent of the debit card, are people in grocery stores who don't start to write a check until the cashier has finished totalling all of the groceries....then they take forever to write the check....and then they post it in their ledger....and calculate their balance. I wonder if they start by writing "Call me Ishmael".
 
When people use a word for the wrong thing! I hate when people try to use "big words" but don't actually know what they mean, or they're just making a word up! Spelling is another one...

I hate this too...my kids & hubby do it all the time :mad2: They drop something or knock something down and then look at it, while they walk by. They can't bend down to pick it up! Ughh!!!

Lecturing...we have people lecture us about how much we have spend on aquariums & fish...but we don't do anything! We don't go out, we don't drink, but yet, they can be lecturing us while they're finishing up their 24 pack of beer they bought a couple hours ago :mad2: It's one of those things...if I'm not asking you for money, then don't worry about what I do with mine! I feel that since we're home all the time (we have our business at home as well), then we should LIKE being here LOL

Ya those are annoying. I can't stand when people price match or dispute the cost of something when they're in front of me in line!! Alot of my Pet Peeves are about the stupid things people do when they are driving.
 
People talking on the cell phone and conducting business when they are driving. They make some unbelievable stupid mistakes when driving and they are clueless.Drives me crazy!

unfortunately, the way the world works nowadays, it seems like if you're not a hypocrite, you end up looking like the bad one. . . :huh:
