As I read these posts who are bashing The New American, not one of you have addressed the scientists that were interviewed. Obviously this is because the information provided is irrefutable and correct. People often bash the messenger when the message is solid and true.
Really, I dont have the time to refute their entire arguments. Its not my job, and this is merely a fish forum, not the world political stage.
In any case, the first link you provided-

seems to show that they are basing nearly everything off of one illogical argument. " Data from earth satellites in use since 1979 do not show any warming."

"The differences between the surface and upper-air trends in no way invalidates the conclusion that the Earth's temperature is rising," said John M. Wallace, chair of the panel that wrote the report and professor of atmospheric sciences at the University of Washington in Seattle. "But the rapid increase in the Earth's surface temperature over the past 20 years is not necessarily representative of how the atmosphere is responding to long-term, human-induced changes, such as increasing amounts of carbon dioxide and other 'greenhouse' gases. The nations of the world should develop an improved climate monitoring system to resolve uncertainties in the data and provide policy-makers with the best available information."
While a combination of human activities and natural causes has contributed to rising surface temperatures, other human and natural forces may actually have cooled the upper atmosphere. For example, natural events such as the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo in 1991 tended to decrease atmospheric temperature for several years. And burning coal and oil for energy produces tiny aerosol particles in the atmosphere that can have a cooling effect. Upper-air temperatures also can be reduced by depletion of ozone in the stratosphere caused by chlorofluorocarbons and other chemicals being emitted into the atmosphere. When these variables are accounted for in atmospheric models, satellite and balloon data more closely align with surface-temperature observations."
Once you start to look at the facts (not individuals interpretations of the facts) there can be no doubt left as to wether the earth has been increasing in temperature quite drastically lately. How you believe this will affect the earth and its inhabitants, and how much of a role humans had in the temp rise are certainly debatable topics, and where you will find a large number of scientists disagreeing with one another.
By the way, the changes in the earths temperature is due to the changes in the temperature of the sun. Look it up. Compare the graphs.

About 1/3 of the recent change in temp is due to the sun. Oops, there goes your theory.
And BTW- your earlier comment about how '18000' scientists think global warming is myth. Is a downright lie. Perhaps you misunderstand what the Oregon petition states."
"We urge the United States government to reject the global warming agreement that was written in Kyoto, Japan in December 1997, and any other similar proposals. The proposed limits on greenhouse gases would harm the environment, hinder the advance of science and technology, and damage the health and welfare of mankind.
There is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse gases is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth’s atmosphere and disruption of the Earth’s climate. Moreover, there is substantial scientific evidence that increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide produce many beneficial effects upon the natural plant and animal environments of the Earth."
They are arguing against Kyoto (I thought it was you who claimed that these scientists talking about global warming are in it for the politics? Is this not an example of the direct opposite?). The paper does not state that global warming isnt happening, merely that humans have not been proven to be directly responsible.
