Inconsistency is what bothers me most about this. If PETA acted the same way they say everyone else should act I could at least respect them, despite not agreeing with them. But the whole animal rights movement is grounded in inconsistency. If animals have rights then buying, selling, and using them to work for us would be akin to buying, selling and forcing people to work while confiscating the results of their labor. That my friends is the very definition of slavery.
