Both are going to be rather expensive, check out their online prices and that will give you some type of an idea as to which is cheaper. I know the online and in-store prices are different but it's a start

yes thats their job.... yet you expect everyone here to memorize their prices? figure out the 2-3 items you want and ask the price.

And that is not even considering possible differences in prices locally and possible local sales.
And seriously. You are perfectly willing to call customer service for a company selling pet food to inquire about their ingredients in their food, but calling a store to ask about prices on specific items is inconvenient? You could have called and gotten your answer in 5 minutes.

For the most part, the price difference is going to be just a few cents, so not something that stands out. Even if you're broke, student, unemployed, etc. it still makes sense to just buy it where it's closer because the gas is going to offset the difference anyhow.
Also, I don't know about everyone else, but for me a package of frozen food lasts forever because I feed so many other things. So if I spent a quarter more for bloodworms by buying it at Petco vs. Petsmart or vice versa, I didn't notice because it lasted me about 2 months...

so you ask a question, and then get mad at the obvious answer? Have you tried going into the actual stores?
no... have some busy employee hang up with you, take a notebook and pen and write down all the prices and call you back with them. no reason you have to be busy waiting on the phone too.
You could try actually going in physical world, though that is passe.
So instead maybe someone will have the list pf all products and recent prices at both stores who doesn't even work there? But it is going to vary a lot area to area anyway from area to area.

i live pretty close to you, and the hikari brand is what my local petsmart sells, probably the same with petco. i would just buy from the place that is nearest to you, you will pay more if you buy a cheap item and extra gas than a slightly more expensive item and less gas.
