They do not use a rag; they use an algae sponge. star_rider said:I'm not sure I would call it inhumane. in the wild the conditons get a lot worse that what can happen in our tanks.. in the rivers heavy rain cause sediment to get in the water it is flushed out with continuous water movement(eventually)
