Gourami could definitely survive the trip back, they can breath from the surface.

I was thinking the same thing. I even began to wonder if the girl had another reason to not want to sell me the gourami. She almost seemed like she didn't like the fact that they sold fish there; she started telling me about other actual fish stores.

anyway, my LFS doesn't have dwarf gouramis, and I really do like them. Once I get my 55 or 75 up hopefully they'll still have them.

Thanks for the comments about that, though.

Good looking out on his part! He had no way of knowing you are a responsible fishkeeper, and was looking out for the welfare of the fish.
 
i think most of em are on sale til the 20th. i didnt get a chance to look through all the stuff i have to put out
 
got back from mine and of course they were out of what i wanted,..
they only had 4 otos and 2 rasboras,.. so i got them,.. have to wait for another new truck next wednesday,..
 
mine said a couple weeks,.. said it just started yesterday,..
the last one lasted about 3 weeks,. or more, can't remember,..
