Petsmart $1.00 sale

Opaline Gouramis, Otocinclus, Cherry Barbs, Albino Tiger Barbs, Lamp Eye Tetras, Glowlight Tetras, all $1.00! It's almost worth the 2 hour drive...

I've never been, do Petsmart stores stock a good amount of fish usually?

The one I stop at occasionally has a good many fish. About 40 tanks or so, all of them with 20+ fish in them. Trouble for me is that the last time I talked to them about buying a fish there the girl talked me out of it, saying they don't have oxygen so the fish might not make the 60 mile trip back to my place. They have beautiful dwarf gouramis there that I'm still thinking about buying some of.

i relieved my local petsmart of all the oto cats they had in the tank yesterday =) they are happily eating algae in a 130g now

thanks for the heads up, my nearest store has 2 dozens otos - i'm going there now.

Wow, even if they run low that sounds like fish heaven compared to what I have here. i think I'll go if I can rig up some kind of fish carrier that won't slosh too bad in the car.

Even if your trip takes 2 hours the fish should be fine with normal air. The bag should be at least 1/2 full of air. The more air in the bag the more oxygen the fish have to breathe.

Just came back with a dozen Glowlight tetras!

sidenote: The salesman tried to give me a hassle about adding 12 fish into a 75g at the same time. He tried to take away the 14 day guarantee, but after i spoke with management, the guarantee was... guaranteed. :)
