AS many of you might of herd petsmart will match anyprice that you find including their own online price which is alot cheaper.

So here is my story

I went to petsmart to get a new heater the Visi-therm Stealth 200 watt. And a new filter the penguin 350 with the bio wheel and such. So i went to the store with the biggest smile on my face thinking that i had the system beat. So when i went there the guy said he couldent give me the discounted price for the filter because it was advertised as a 350 b and what i had was a 350 c which i guess had a different filter media that was bigger and stuff of the sort even though it was the same brand and circulated the same amount of water. The only difference was at the bottom of the box one said C cartridge and the other said B. Anyways i did get my heater though. It was originally 34.99 and i got it for 19.99. I'm going to go and get another filter maybe an emperor and this time i'm going to make sure they have the write filter media size matching and everything

Anyways just print out there online advertized price and if it's the exact thing they will match it

Just been wondering about this, does it work for canadians (purchasing the stuff in canada)? I would imagine it doesn't becuase of the difference in the value of the dollar, but I'm not sure.

I got my Rena XP1 canister there. They had it in store for $120 and they matched their online price of $60.99. What a deal! I did however find it strange that their filter media prices were cheaper in-store than on-line.

Yeah I got a 50 foot python no spill at Petco for 80 bucks! Found it at Petsmart for 69.........then found it ONLINE at Petsmart for 38!!! They matched it and I returned the Petco one for a small fortune. Incidentally Petco won't even match their own online prices.

One up for Petsmart!

i remember buying a penguin biowheel 125 and a heater on petco.com, the biowheel extension tube was too long for my 10G, so it would keep pushing up and restarting. then i read a lot of bad reviews about the heater so i decided to return both. the filter was $16 and heater was $18. i ended up being returned more than $58, probably the prices instore. so yeah it was extra money i got, bought some betta food and other things with it!

I haven't tried to see if it works for canadians, but there is a petsmart about 15 minutes away on eureka rd (i75 south to exit 36ish) the west a couple miles.

They matched it no problem from petsmart.com when i picked up my XP2.

I am going to buy my food at petsmart now and save money..I used to pay full retail prices on food..

yup... always bring a print out...

so far i saved on a power filter...orig priced at $33 i got it for 18.99, master test kit $23 i got it for 13.89. the store was helpful and reacted like it happens all the time. im wondering why the store price is so high in the first place. and each item i got was the last one in stock, so is it because they're not big sellers or maybe the store just tries to get over on u. dont know but i like savin money :thm:

Actually, some of the in-store and online prices don't differ that much, sometimes at all. I bought a bag of Zupreem bird food and a 50 ml bottle of prime today at petsmart and the online and in-store price for the bird food was exactly the same and the prime was only $0.10 more in the store. I guess it just depends on what your getting.
