Petsmart or BigAls?

in my area petsmart isnt working for me but i have never heard of big als you should ask them some questions to test them
I've never been to big al's but I work in a Petsmart. I can tell you our fish section could be a lot better. The tanks are all 15g cubes, but we keep them overstocked. We do have awesome filter systems, but they are all interconnected, so no individual water parameters.
i dont know but usually big als has better prices and more selections. i think big als is only in canada.
OMG I love Big Al's There is one just half an hour from me and well thats where i get every thing i need for my tanks! they Are so much more knolagable(sp) than petsmart....and its so much more fun to buy stuff there...and there fish are healther....and cheeper! they actually seem to care about there fish and where they are going! and they will take the time to answer even the stupidest(is that even a word) questions! its great....I LOVE BIG AL'S!! :thm:

I think the only actual Big Als store (in the US) is in Florida...If you ever went to a Big Als, you would never go to a Petsmart, Petco, pet whatever again. There is no comparison.

On the downside, because there aren't any BA stores in the USA (Florida excepted) the mail order prices are cheaper (even after conversion) at the USA BA than from the Can BA. Although I think that competition from other mail order places also helps. We do get free shipping though, which is a plus.
