Great! Guess I'll go to BigAls for my fish as soon as my fishless cycle is done, which should be less than 2 weeks from now. They do have a large collection of fish and they seem to do quality checks on their tanks which the customers can see. Im probably going to start off with 6-8 freshly stocked danios and move on from there.

Actually i dont need a BA because i have one place just like it where i live. Except it is called Petland. Although some of you may not think Petland is the best place to shop for me it is. I dont even have to be getting anything there i could just go there see what they are doing ask some questions and be able to stay there for hours. They really care for their fish and they REALLY know what they are talking about. Everyone their knows me and my friend so well that each time we come in they say,"Spending money again?". It is also good that if you find a store to go to you should stay at that place so they know about your tank and can help you out if you have some problems. I learn so much their too it is like a school for learning about fish 
It really all depends on which branch you go to. Your Petland sounds awesome, the one close to my home is abhorent. Poor puppies

I have a big al's about 25min. from my house. :clap: I really like it, the staff seem knowledgable for the most part, and they have a good selection of fish... and HEALTHY FISH!!! :dance2:

Do NOT buy from petsmart, I have never had a good fish from them. Try to find a PetCo in your area they are much better. I would also suggest a local pet store. If you want to order online the best place is www.liveaquaria.com .
i do BIGAL's online ... but shipping is so slow... compare to other online store... but the price is the best...
Hmmm here in calgary there is a big als, great place to go, if your starting SW, not veryy much FW though. great for advice and parts.
No Big Al's around me for fish, but I do order supplies from them. The prices are so much better.
