Pic of my 20 gal.

Deb, nice pics....GREAT tank... I still can't believe you hauled that pacu in a truck once....or was it twice '??'...lol....

Oh, photogrophy suggestion.....try turning the flash off on the camera and see what you get. I have found that the lighting in my aquariums is enough and I don't need the flash. The colors come out more normal too...not all washed out. If the lights are off in the room when you see the pic, all you see is the aquarium, the background is all black, looks nice. ;)

ok finally got at least one half-azzed pic of my P's to put up.
There are some short videos in my Mem. page of them just hanging out.

tbone, if you don't mind me asking, how did you make that cave for the castle to sit on top of. That aquascaping is so awesome. I might have to do something like that someday.

I used a existing piece of driftwood in the right hand corner its a fairly large piece. ( you can see the driftwood in my tank specs / pics in the old view) I put a large piece of slate on the top of it -about a foot and a half- then I made a ramp from more rocks gradually building up. basically putting small rocks at the base of the ramp and gradually using bigger or more rocks as I got to the top of the slate. The reason I used the DW is because it has legs and open spaces for the desired caveness. It is basically a table with a ramp leading up to it. Then I put a black trash bag that I washed (you can never be too carefull) then I covered the smaller stones with the bag. This i did so the ramp I made would hold the smaller substrate rocks and not fall through. and so I could put plants on it

Here are 2 pics of the 1 male Aphyosemion australe which I finally picked up for another fish enthusiast last weekend.
I got 2 pairs.
I'm hopeing to breed them again. It has been around 20 years since I've had and bred them.

oooooo...nice fish ! Are they a type of Killifish?

Geko..you must like the red/orange color in fish...all the discus in your avatar have the same coloring ! Wonder if you could put those two types together, they would match really well !

My newest rescue! I found him today at WalMart. :D He's one of the first white bettas I've seen and possibly the best choice out of all the other fish there.

Someday I'm going to buy the whole betta rack at Walmart just to save them.

PurpleSmurf, you'd like the betta I picked up yesturday....purple with pink fins...When I get a good pic of him I'll share... :D

The one you have there would be called a Cambodian. The average petstore bettas are called Veiltails. Sure is a fun hobby...isn't it ! :thm:

Yes they are a type of Killifish.
I had no choice in the color of the discus. I got them over a year ago that were going to be culled from a breeder. I like RT better then Pigeon Bloods, but for free how can I complain.

Heres some of my fish....think I need to clean the outside of my tank though!
