Awesome Tank!!

Thanks folks...I really am enjoying this tank, but not completely satisfied yet...lol....(perfectionist)...I'll toy around with the arrangement and add some more plants and rock stuff....but not bad...not bad at all !

It's a 15 gallon tank and I have a mini penguin bio-wheel and a 10 gallon size sponge filter in there along with an airstone. I add 1 Tbs of aquarium salt per 5 gallons as recommended for the guppies...and in several places I've read that the panda corys will tolerate that fine.

I'm lovin it !!

Nice tank. Like the Flag!!!

I just got my 20L setup for some german blue rams. The only stock I'm putting in this tank is the pair of rams..which I've raised from fry...and 4 or more otocinclus.

The plants need to grow out and I need more of them, but it's a decent start. The substrate is Echo-Complete for planted tank....some of which I've taken from an established tank. I have a sponge filter which is seeded and will go in this tank as soon as I get an outlet to plug the air pump into...lol. I am using a whisper filter for a 20 gallon tank...no carbon in the filter bag. I'll pick up some kind of sponge to put in there along with the floss bag...as soon as I get a chance to get to a fish store.

There is a dual flourescent fixture with 40 watts total of lighting, but I don't think the bulbs are 6700K. I'll wait and see how these bulbs do before I go out and replace them. I have high hops for this tank....oh, I'm also dosing with flourish excel. We'll see how it goes !
