I would be pretty pissed if anyone told me I had to muzzle my dog in order to take it out in public (leashed). I seriously doubt any of my dogs would know what to do if I were to get attacked, but having my dog muzzled certainly won't make me feel safe when we go for a walk around the neighborhood at midnight!!! My dogs have every right to protect me and my property if someone were trying to cause harm, although they would probably lick the person to death before anything else :rolleyes: :D

You have a really good point there, Holly. It can be uncomfortable to walk alone at night (especially for a woman)...and having a dog with you for safety/security can help...to have that dog muzzled lessens that security.

Personally, I'm all for owners taking responsibilty to properly train and socialize their dogs (regardless of breed), as well as follow the laws of their city/town in regards to licensing and leashes. Being a person who is not entirely comfortable around strange dogs, I especially appreciate those who do follow leash regulations...I just about have a heart attack any time I see someone let their big dog run loose in a playground. :o

Well IMO..people get just as upset about this as they do about religion and politics. Maybe even more so.
 
Cause some people, not sayin' its me nesasarily, want this to horse to die and obviously it hasn't. It has been beat so much I would think it would be completely tenderized already. All tis left...
