Plant has some fur

my one plant in my fish tank has some white "fur" growing on it. its only on like 2 leaves. what is it

Idk but I saw something like that at my LFS only it was all black and evreywhere

Subxero, sounds like a fungus, but really cant determine anything without pics.

If it is like tiny black tufts- its black brush alage (BBA). The stuff is hard to get rid of and very few fish will eat it- SAE is one. I usually remove plants with it and give them a 90 second dip in a 19-1 bleach solution, rinse well, drop into a bucket with a good dose of dechlor for a few minutes and then replant.

The stuff on the sides of the leaf? Looks like algae...I can't see it well enough though to get a great ID.

SAE's and Seachem's excel work wonders for BBA.

Fortunately it is not BBA. Looks like hair algae to me. You could remove most of it by swirling an old toothbrush over the area. It's hard to avoid some algae cropping up in the tank.

Do you have any algae eating fish or shrimp?
