How do I prune my plants? Mainly how do I trim Wysteria? It has roots coming off of it all the way up to the top of the plant??? Also it has some leaves that look like they are dying but new ones grow on it still? Some of the plants have brown on the leaves and the red ones have a hole or two in a leaf or two.

You can trim your Wisteria by pinching off branches or any part of the stem...try to leave a few leaves on it...don't expect a bare piece of stem to sprout a new plant. Then replant the branch/stem. Pretty simple. As for the aerial roots, you can also pinch them off if you'd like but it will reproduce more.

Holes in leaves come from nutrient deficiency or something eating the leaf. Your set up (lighting, tank size, fertilizer regime, #/kind of fish, etc...) will help us help you. You can also check Chuck Gadd's website for nutrient deficiencies.

I have a 10g with 2 15w phillips pc 6500k bulbs. I have 2 Blue Rams that breed like rabbits, 2 Harliquin Rasboras, 3 Oto's, 2 Zebra Danios.

What kind of plant is that lilly plant? If it's a Nymphaea lotus 'zenkeri' a.k.a. Red Tiger Lotus, it needs something. Probably more light, maybe a more nutritious substrate, maybe both. Don't go running off and jamming root tabs in the gravel just yet. How often do you feed your fish? If you've resisted the temptation to overstock your tank I'll guess you don't feed too much, but hey, I've been wrong before, I'll be wrong again! How long has the tank been running?
Your Lobelia cardinalis looks healthy...has it been in there long? If so, has it grown much?

Here is the Wysteria and a pic of the whole tank.

Thats a bad substrate isnt it? Its big and small creek pebbles and some crushed coral.

Hmm.. Well I dont know much about plants... That is what my plant was labeled as in the store... It was a potted plant like my cardinal and had a plant tag stuck in it.
