Planted 120G Tank

BoCoMo: WOW I didn't think anyone was still following this tank, thanks. Well in its glory this is the last picture before it crashed with the original scape.

Unfortunately neglect, vacations, higher tank temps over the summer perhaps didn't fair well for me over the summer months and it crashed. Lost complete species of some plants and took a lot of effort to nurse some back to health. (Couldn't give up on what remained although it would've been easier.)

This pic doesn't quite show rock bottom for the tank but it was close.

I've since in late Sept dedicated myself to bring the tank back to life and it's been a total PITA, but it has been a bit more satisfying seeing the hard work pay off.

It took a lot of plant material to get this 1.5' corner too look good to me which left the rest of the tank bare in early Nov.

I'll post a picture of how the tank looks now when I get a chance but it is still a work in progress so don't be too critical of it.

I really enjoy your aquascaping style - I think it is excellent before and the 1.5' section!

Very nice!

Well this is the latest picture just last week.

My biggest struggle with the tank as of late with the different types in there is the rate of growth. Although I'm please with the left side it requires a lot of maintenance which is ok but frequently looks over grown by the end of the week. The middle of the tank isn't growing quite at the same speed getting a clear idea of how to scape the tank is requiring some patience which I have been losing here there moving things around.

As an example 2 of the hardest plants I have trouble to fitting in is a Queen Marble sword and a melon sword because of the area they take up. I've been more prone to cultivate than to aquascape. I'm aquascape challenged...LOL So I've already moved the Marble sword to the other tank and am still considering the Melon sword.
