This is what I came home to after my 2 week vacation....
The green is just the stupid exposure, well that and the reflection of all the algae!
A few plants were even growing OUT of the tank.

Well the algae grew out of control after this point because I neglected the tank after my return. There was so many different kinds of algae, so many that I didn't think could grow in the same tank (too many different conditions required for the different types of algae). I am also now working 2 jobs so a high tech high maintenance tank is out of the question. Sooo....
I ripped pretty much everything out! And let some of the debris get carried to the filters!
Here is what I saved (threw out A LOT of plants)
I also moved the Crispus who's roots spread over a squared ft of the tank bottom.
I am fiddling around for now trying to figure out what I am going to do with this tank, it will be low light with mostly slow growers to fit my now crazy schedule!
