Planted 33 Flat Back Hex (Many pics!)

I am a customer of customdrum & your right he has great stuff! I think I am going to go with java ferns, anubias, moss & maybe 1 or 2 more easy plants, keep it real low maintenance! As of right now it will be a hospital tank for neglected & damaged java ferns & anubias that will be used in the aquascape.

I still have all the fish and they are in the tank in the pictures too believe it or not. All 7 of my original Otos have survived so far, fingers crossed. I did lose a couple ember tetras for some unknown reason though. I still want to add habrosus cories & maybe even some long fin white clouds.

It's been a yr already!? I've really been slacking! So this tank was going to come down completely to be combined with my 40g breeder but that tank became strict with species and I acquired some mixed new fish so this tank sat with no substrate, some random floating plants and lots of wood in wait of a redo.

Like this but with about twice the amount of wood.

It was nice enough for my new albino long fin BN to spawn with my old brown BN though!

Finally got around to redoing the tank though, yay! I love the new substrate (soil master select) looks very natural. It does have a slight yellow tint but not like the pictures makes it seem. All the plants except some of the hornwort came from my 10g (which is now gone) and I still have some more plants to add (TONS of flame moss that is in rough shape, small amounts of 2 other mosses maybe Christmas, peacock, Singapore or Taiwan).

Battery died in the camera before I could get more pictures but here is my zebra nerite & one of the little BNs.

Any suggestions on how/where to add the moss?

I have 1 55watt ahsupply over this tank (about 22' from the substrate) and do not plan to add any ferts or CO2.

Nice looking!

Wow! great looking tank! congratz on the BN spawn
