i reckon you should go dig a nice hole put pond liner in it fill it with water put rocks around the edge put some pond plasnts in there and put your goldfish in there i think they would like a pond (im 14 btw)

any up-dates? i definately think you would be better to look for a 2nd hand tank, you can pick up some real bargains.

you got some bad advice but have taken steps to remedy the problem.
remember tho that gold fish are cold water species.. the angel/silver dollar tank is tropical.
hang in there and keep heading in the right direction.

the goldies wont work in the silver dollar/angel tank. that tank is probly at 80 fahrenhiet while goldies like 70 fahrenhiet. keeping them in not the right temps will cause them to have weakened immune systems and be more prone to disease. i would check craigslist and kijiji for a second hand tank. you can get really good comeplete set-ups for good deals! ive seen deals like a complete 20 gallon set-up for 40$ or a 30 set-up for 75$. check that daily and the right deal will come along but get a bigger tank asap! IMO i think those 2 goldies need a 30 minimum. im no goldy expert but seeing my parents freinds pond common goldies get big! really really really big!
