PLEASE HELP! Something wrong with Kuhli...

I think Kuhlis are wonderful, but I believe I would wait to see that the others are OK before adding more to your tank. For now, keep things simple and stress free in the tank, as much as possible.

Then, if these guys seem to be doing well, you could get more, but I would definitely have a quarantine tank set up for them. Lots of hiding places for them and some silk plants to help them feel safe, and watch them for a full month before adding to the tank. Of course, then you want to make sure the water parameters match when you do add them to your tank.

I know you know all that stuff... Don't give up on the idea of Kuhlis, if that's what you want.... just be patient and careful.

I'm very sorry for your losses, I know how upsetting this is. Don't be hard on yourself or blame yourself.... we really don't know what happened and Kuhlis may be sensitive like others have said, and probably even among kuhlis some may be stronger, genetically, than others.

I've heard that Ottos are sensitive, hard to keep, and are prone to die suddenly, but I have two Ottos that are tough as nails. They've made it through spikes and power failures and Ich and accidental chlorine poisoning. I've had them for almost a year and they are fat and healthy.
