Pleco dietary needs...

I do feed zuch,cuc's, stringbeans but now that's a good idea about studding
them with earthworm sticks or something. I have other fish that eat the algae
wafers or any other food I try and get to them. However they leave the veggies
alone. I've given them grapes on a fork and they love them, so do the s. petricola.
I'm going to try cantalope and other melons. I gave them spinach last night and
it was gone in no time. This was a really great post!
 
My tiger pleco seems to only slightly pick at the veg I put in, he is still only small..... He eats all the algae wafers I put in and also eats some of the blood worm I feed but doesn't seem to like the veg too much. Any suggestions on what he may like?

Good information to have, it will definately increase the quality of my plecos diet.
 
thanks for all the ideas guys now i just need to find the pleco I want at the right price rofl
