PLECO food!

My pleco loves the cucumber and the orange too, so I always put two or three slides of cucumber and 1 slide of orange.

I have a problem with my pleco. It attacks my other fish, so it killed one yesterday, and it ate the fish :-(. Do you know why it did that? What can I do in order to avoid these incidents?

Is it a so called "Chinese Algea Eater"? If so, that might be your problem... they aren't plecos at all, and thats what they do: get to be big, agressive murderers.

If not, what size is the pleco? Some get HUGE and agressive, like my Blue Eyed, it's about 9 inches now, and almost kills the other fish every night.

Oops!! My pleco is around 5 inches , but you are right it is getting bigger ;-/. What can I do ? I like the fish , if I give it more food ... This could be a solution ?

You can try to feed them at night. They're nocturnal and more active in the dark where they can find food more easier.
