Pleco size?

the "*" is there in some posts because of a superstition. It was once said that if you spelled the fish's name out with the "e", yours would suffer some kind of bad luck, if not death.

If you don't want your plecostamus to get too big, check out a Bristlenose Plecostamus. They're active, funny-looking, and they do a great job of cleaning the tank. On top of all that, they top out at about 7 or 8 inches. What more could you want in a pleco? (oh yeah, and if you get them young, they're usually nice and cheap!)

Good luck!

I'm absolutely hopeless- can't find the Ls.
don't fret spud, I'm here to help ;)

1. when you first open the site, click on the black and white catfish in the center of the page

2. Now click on Cat-eLog, it's the first box in the center row.

3. here's where it's tricky..... on the right, click on All Species ordered by Common Names

4. then come down on the left to your "L's"

good luck, ;)

rubber lipped plecs are great, they get up to five inches.
