I have 1 little columbian zebra, lost 2 to the temp surge... seeing them and being able to get them out before they spoiled in the tank in miraculous because I hardly see them at all ever. I do want another pleco though, something that isn't so shy. The one as it is stays in the sunken titanic and I can only see him when I look into one of the holes... Any ideas of what I can start looking at? The tank is a 75 gallon planted.

Bristlenose? Mines not too terribly shy. You could even get more then one if you wanted!

I have 3 golden nuggets, two of which are out 2/3 or more of the time, and a 12" Goldy who has no problem coming out for meal time, and the occasional excurssion. Because we have discus our temp is around 84, so their metabolisms are up. I think that is why they're so active during the day. There was another customer there when I got the big Goldy who said there was no way he'd pay that much to never see the fish again, but Frankie is out and about every evening. That guy missed out!
Good luck finding something that will say hello and thank you for all your hard work every once and a while.

Ever since the move from my 20 gallon to a 29, my bristlenose comes out more and I can see him sucking on the glass in the front view.

I have several ~2" bristlenoses in a 20H and there's always 1 or 2 visible.

My (now 7") common plec was a real night owl and very skittish in his previous 30G. Now in a 75 and I see him a lot more with the lights on.

Danger Doll, Gamer means the lights that you install in your hood. They are lights that mimic the moon (hence, moon lights). You can get a hood that already has them or install them yourself.
