You might try motion detector lights, the kind that come on when anything gets near them. You might also try motion detector noise makers. Raccons hunt by smell and if you put anykind of meat in your pond, such as beefheart or leave dog food anywhere near the pond that will attract them. You may also be able to get traps from your local animal control and relocate any that you catch.

You might want to try an alligator decoy. Trapping raccoons on your own can be dangerous and they can get really nasty when trapped. We actually caught one and had to let it go again in our yard since we couldnt actually carry the trap to put in the car to relocate. It kept trying to grab us everyime we tried to go near the handle. So letting it go seemed like a better idea than getting scratched or bit. Netting didn't work and neither did motion detector lights. The decoy works for racoons, ducks, and herons. Although I'm sure a motion detector sprinkler would be a good choice too but never tried it.
