*drool* Yeah, Joe, that's awesome.

I'm convinced. I guess what I have to do first is get a pool. Then pretend I'm tired of it (I'll make this look real and give it, oh, 1 or 2 weeks) and then have it turned into a pond.

kveeti, I guess you know that pond pic I like is from the website you posted... It's about good enough to use as a 'background' pic for the computer -- since I know I will never have one of those like that one for real....!

On that pond, it looks like you can walk either left or right from the house to get to the rest of the yard... Very nice, and unique! :)

Very cool..I like that 'pond under the porch' one too. I wonder how deep that converted pool is. Seems you could keep some big catfish, gar, pike, bass in that bad-boy.

I did after you posted it. I didn't see it originally. After I found the picture I was looking for (the koi pond), I saw the bottom pool pic and that was about as far as I went. This is the pond and fish I am going to paint:

I don't know if I'll ever have an inground pond. I was thinking I'd like a pond (with goldfish) in one of those old bathtubs with the claw feet, if I could find one at a good price. All I have right now is a marsh (it's lined like a pond to keep the arrowhead roots wet):
